Excellent essay. I have had to deal with the mis- match between an organization, employees and myself as a leader. There are some people who find a participative and creative environment unsettling. Although it seems like something everyone would like some people expect and desire a lot of structure and routine. Matching the styles of individual employees and leadership and organizational values is a challenge that can be facilitated with targeted recruitment and managerial skills that include interviewing with the purpose of discovering compatibility.
